Local

Christchurch Food Bank+

Christchurch Foodbank logo Christchurch Food Bank+ is about much more than just food in    an emergency. We are passionate about caring for the whole      person and so have developed our centre to support, walk  alongside you and to provide you with the skills and tools to not just survive but to thrive so that you can live life to the full.We provide emergency food for when you need it and as long as you need it, including fresh fruit and vegetables when available. There are also Family Lunch Bags including toiletries, pet food etc.

The Home Equip turns an empty property in to a home and safe space for families and those escaping domestic violence. Through funding and community donations we are able to supply cups to cookers, beds to baby items, to a whole home of furniture.

For those on their journey out of homelessness we provide: food, hot meals, clothes, sleeping bags and toiletries. In addition, we provide support with filling in forms, appointments and housing related issues. This enables us, most importantly, to build a relationship and therefore build trust.

Anyone coming to the Food Bank can have a financial health check.  We can assist you with fuel poverty or other hardship, and you can access our free CMA Debt Advice and budgeting service.

PACE   Programme for Applied Christian Education

PACE logoA Christian schools work charity established in 1994 who partner with local churches in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to serve primary and secondary schools. They serve schools in two distinct ways:

Schools Work – Our aim is to help everyone in schools to explore the Christian faith. This happens through lessons, assemblies, lunchtime clubs and other activities. Together with others from local churches, we want to give students the opportunity to learn about Christianity from people who are following Jesus.

Pastoral Care – Our aim is to provide professional supervision to Pastoral Care Workers, Senior Leadership Team Members and Designated Safeguarding Leads in schools. This happens through individual supervision, network events and inset training days. We want to support all those in schools with responsibility for the pastoral care of their students.

National

CMA   Community Money Advice

CMA logoFaithworks CMA (Community Money Advice) operate two services:
Debt Advice – a service for those who are struggling to pay their debts. Budgeting Support – help to manage finances with the aim of not going  into debt

We operate under the framework of CMA, a national charity.  We are regulated and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. We are mainly staffed by volunteers.

Our passion is to see people set free from unmanaged debt, and this means that we will journey with people for as long as this takes. As well as maximising income we equip people with the tools, skills and understanding needed to minimise the risk of getting into future debt while providing support to help people to live life free from the stress that debt can so easily cause.

International

Open Doors

Open Doors Image

Open Doors works in more than 70 countries, supplying Bibles, training church leaders, providing practical support and emergency relief, and supporting Christians who suffer persecution and discrimination for their faith.

Their national bases in 25 countries work to raise awareness of global persecution, mobilising prayer, support and action among Christians.

They do so because they believe that when one member suffers, all members suffer with it
(1 Corinthians 12:26), all doors are open and God enables His body to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
